Common questions

Can any mechanic do a WOF?

No. Warrant of Fitness inspections can only be done at inspection sites authorised by NZTA Waka Kotahi, so check the workshop is one before you book a WOF.

How often should I get my car serviced?

Most manufacturers recommend a service every 10,000 to 15,000 km or every 12 months, whichever comes first. Check your owner's manual, as some newer cars go longer between services.
